KHLim (Limburg Catholic University College) is an institution for higher education in Flanders, Belgium and  is part of the reputed University Association Catholic University Leuven, that brings together 13 institutions of higher education in Flanders.

Limburg Catholic University College (LCUC) is renowned for the high quality of its teaching and research.  More than 40 bachelor and master programmes are offered in the departments Commercial Sciences and Business Administration, Health Care, Industrial Sciences and Technology, Media, Arts  and Design, Socio-Educational Care Work and Teacher Training and the strong commitment of the university college to research ensures state-of-the-art training programmes.

The research policy is focused on applied research driven by  the need of the market and as such LCUC’s mission is to develop innovative technology for companies and non-profit organizations and to transfer this new technology to the market.

LCUC’s international image shows itself in the partnerships with European educational networks and institutions for higher education across the globe. LCUC also strongly collaborates with local, regional and national policy-making bodies, resulting in a broad network of partners, target groups and stakeholders. At the same time LCUC is dedicated to providing consultancy and programmes for continuing education to local industries, organizations and governments.

LCUC has an in-house Project Service Office  with as main tasks the administrative and financial project management  and the university business cooperation with actors in profit and non-profit sectors in the region. The Project Service Office uses a separate analytical bookkeeping for each project and has experience with financial management in other (EU) projects.  

LCUC has a turnover of 5.6 Mio. Euro and was involved in FP7 projects OPEN GARMENT and PATHWAY, as well as in several other European projects funded by IEE, EACEA, Daphne, ….
